It's the very first time for the canteen's staff to travel to a big city like Bangkok. 超兴奋 +1 +1
As we all know, BKK is the capital of Thailand, full of skyscrapers, malls, cars and numerous tourists from different countries visit here every single day. I previously never had thought of travelling here and there, I thought it is a thing for working adults to do and I'm a college student so I shouldn't be doing this... I was WRONG! My internship kinda changed my mind, it was all because of those tiring and stressful life which build up my travel intense! Immediately, I booked my flight the very first time, no more mummy's help.
Had Johnny Rocket as dinner at KLIA2 before departure. Not as bad as my friend told, I found quite delicious though or maybe I was too hungry LOL
fyi the new airport is so much bigger than the old LCCT, with brighter lightings, cooler air-cond and cleaner washrooms. But have to walk very long distance lar
Arrived at DonMuang (DMK) airport around 2230 bkk time now I'll give some tips here. DMK airport is not connected to any train/subway/railway line fyi, Suvarnabhumi Yes. If you're a traveler who wants everything on budget and are taking AirAsia's flight, 像我咯 穷游者 you will be arriving here. And to get a taxi to the city, *read carefully now i forgot to take pics to show after retrieving your luggage, look for an Exit sign it will direct u to the arrival hall, then turn left and walk to the end of the corridor and find Gate 8, it's the taxi stand where there's always long queue but no worries it clears up real quick, no pre-ticket buying, ignore those agency's people u will met along the corridor 阿昆来的.
Then, we took our cab to our hotel located at Sukhumvit Soi 31, cost around 250 Bath, need to pay additional 50 B as it's a surcharge of taking cab at the airport. The driver was very nice, chit chat with us a little during the journey and helped us to carry luggage to the lobby, they all hope for a tipping of course, a little amount will do but make sure it's paper don't give coins lar pls. Or you can just round up your fare, for ex. 275 B to 300 B. We checked in late and decide to call it a night, too tired.
